The History Of WFLM Radio
WFLMRadio.com was launched on May 3, 2006. The station was created by Rages Goddess, who applied her craft at other stations, before going on to create a station of her own, and a friend. After brainstorming names, they came up with West Florida Metal Radio, which they shorten to WFLM Radio. The station has achieved many contacts and friends over the years, including all of the wonderful fans who tune in for their favorite shows and/or to simply enjoy the automated stream.
In January of 2011, Rages decided she could no longer give her time to the station that it deserved. She offered the station to fellow DJ and friend JewelThrone. Rages saw what he brought to the station and his dedication for it to succeed, that she knew it would be in good hands. He made a promise to keep the integrity that the station has already achieved, but also make an effort to reach new levels of success. JewelThrone bought the station in February of 2011 becoming its new owner.
